Committed to the growth and development of leaders and communities worldwide, Cynthia Luna is co-founder of
LF Leadership, an organization offering leadership development and coaching to individuals, communities and organizations across the United States, Latin America and most recently South Africa.

Ms. Luna has a history of pioneering leadership in business and community development. Born in Mexico City, while in college she founded a leadership development and service-learning program, teaching leadership principles to young adults through community service in underserved areas. In 2000, she became the first woman sales manager for the Latin American division of ADC Telecommunications. She was also the first woman — and the first young adult — to serve on the Board of Directors of the
YMCA of Mexico, and from 2002 to 2006 held an elected position on the Executive Committee of the World Alliance of YMCAs, based in Geneva, Switzerland.

Prior to forming LF Leadership, Ms. Luna worked for Shorebank Advisory Services, the consulting arm of
ShoreBank Corporation, the first and largest community development bank in the United States. Previously, she worked for the Loyola Family Business Center, serving large family businesses in the United States, and ADC Telecommunications, a leading international supplier of broadband equipment.

Ms. Luna is certified as an Integral Coach by
New Ventures West and is a member of the International Coach Federation. She holds an MBA in Organizational Development and Operations from Loyola University, Chicago, and received her BA in International Business from ITESM University, Mexico.

Ms. Luna has spoken in venues such as: the LISC Urban Forum (San Francisco and Miami), ICSC (Philadelphia and Chicago), Urban Land Institute (Chicago), Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation (Syracuse, NY), Walk your Talk (Santa Cruz, CA), “The Spirit of Business” show on KEST Radio, among others.
