A 10-week course taught by Max Freund at Cal Poly Pomona, Sept-Dec 2007

Learn the Keys to Effective Fundraising

Fundraising is the lifeblood of any non-profit, no matter whether it is a startup or an established organization. This course will offer non-profit professionals a comprehensive training in fund development principles and best practices.

Topics covered will include annual fund management, major gifts, case statement development, prospect research, moves management, solicitation skills, and many others.

By the end of the class, students will have the skills and tools they need to go out and start raising money, including a case statement, annual fundraising plan, and systems for cultivating major gift prospects.

This course may be counted as 20 points toward the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation — see www.cfre.org for details.
