Course Offerings at Cal Poly Pomona

LF Leadership is partnering with Cal Poly Pomona's College of the Extended University to offer a series of courses throughout the coming year.

Starting in September 2007, we will be offering two 10-week courses focusing on vital aspects of organizational leadership. Click the course titles for more information!

• Executive Coaching Skills

  This course will provide the skills and competencies coach others to excellence. This course is ideal for human resources professionals, managers, and organizational development practitioners to learn this valuable skill.
  
  

• Fundraising Fundamentals for Non-profits

  With a focus on relationship-based fundraising, this course will provide non-profit professionals with a comprehensive training in fund development techniques, including direct mail, events, online fundraising, and major gift solicitation, as well as ethical issues and the role of the board of directors.

In Spring 2008 we will be offering a course on Project Planning and Grant Proposal Writing as part of Cal Poly Pomona's Certificate in Grant Writing and Management.

This hands-on course will walk you through the process of developing a grant proposal, from project planning through to application and follow-up.

By the end of the course, you will have a finished proposal suitable for submission to a funder, including elements such as an effective needs statement, logic model, budget, and action plan.
